Tannenbaum Pine Tar Shampoo

I forgot to add that when I use this shampoo,I seem to have less gray hair than when I use other shampoo.

We have used the pinetar shampoo for many years. It is great. Very soothing to the skin. I also use it on my dogs and horses.If they have had a skin irritation from flea's ect and loosing hair from scratching or biting, this shampoo works great. I have washed them with the shampoo and it clears up quickly and is not harsh on the skin. It doesn't dry the skin out like other shampoos can. If the skin gets dry they scratch and it starts all over again and doesn't heal. I wish it came in a gallon.

To me, Pine Tar shampoo smells like an autumn campfire, and it brings with it such a sense of joyful relaxation that i like using it even though i don't really have scalp problems. I first tried it when a boyfriend of mine got it to help him with some eczema/dandruff and i have been hooked ever since. It is thinner than traditonal shampoo so be prepared for that the first time you use it, but also be prepared for the absolute delight of the earthy rich aroma that it has....ahhhh..... This is a great product that makes my hair feel great with everyday use, but without any buildup like so many mainstream shampoos. My hair tends to get either really fly away or lank and heavy when I try to pick out shampoos that say they are for either oily hair or dry hair ... but they seem to have gotten the balance just about right with this shampoo. I follow up with their Olive Oil conditioner since it has many of the same benefits as the shampoo. It is slightly thinner than typical mainstream shampoo, so be prepared for that when you use it for the first time, but don't be put off by it either. The reason it is thinner is that it isn't filled with all that extra junk that so many other shampoos have in them.
